About

Let me introduce myself.

Profile Picture

I am a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). I hold my Master's Degree in Computer Science at the same university in December 2016. My Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems was obtained at Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES) in July 2014. I'm currently a member of the Laboratory of Interdisciplinary Computer Science (CS+X), and my research is focused on data analysis on collaborative domains, such as music, social networks, and open government data. My main interest in Computer Science research has a strong emphasis on open government data, data science, and analysis of complex networks. Recently, I have been working on Bàde Project (Metrics on Data from/to Social Networks in Different Contexts). My scholarship is financed by CAPES.

Characterization and Analysis of Open Brazilian Judiciary Data

Danilo B. Seufitelli; Weverton R. R. Mata; Rafael Souza; Michele A. Brandão; Mirella M. Moro

Govern transparency is widely accepted as an effective democratic process in many countries. In Brazil, the information-access law contributes to public administration transparency, as public data is available on the Web. However, such data are in different formats and not standardized, which makes it difficult to obtain information, mainly in an automated way. Hence, this work presents an enrichment method for an existing open Brazilian judiciary database, a characterization of the available data, and an analysis of the data about judiciary professionals and their earns. The results reveal a lack of linear correlations between the high salaries and their personal benefits. Also, there is a discrepancy between Judiciary salaries and advantages through Brazilian regions, which may be explained by the higher living costs in some regions. Finally, our study reveals the administrative Brazilian Judiciary data do not conform to all Open Government Data principles, and the enriched database helps to solve such problems.

Detecting Collaboration Profiles in Success-based Music Genre Networks

Gabriel P. Oliveira; Mariana O. Silva; Danilo B. Seufitelli; Anisio Lacerda; Mirella M. Moro

We analyze and identify collaboration profiles in success-based music genre networks. Such networks are built upon data recently collected from both global and regional Spotify weekly charts. Overall, our findings reveal an increase in the number of distinct successful genres from high-potential markets, pointing out that local repertoire is more important than ever on building the global music ecosystem. We also detect collaboration patterns mapped into four different profiles: Solid, Regular, Bridge and Emerging, wherein the two first depict higher average success. These findings indicate great opportunities for the music industry by revealing the driving power of inter-genre collaborations within regional and global markets.

JusBD: Um Banco de Dados para Obtenção de Informações do Poder Judiciário

Weverton R.R. Mata; Danilo B. Seufitelli; Michele A. Brandão

Digital forensics is a science that seeks to identify, preserve, retrieve, analyze, and present evidence of crime in data. In Brazil, the Law of Information Access allows public data to be audited or undergo a forensic analysis. However, many of these data are in PDF or in large spreadsheets, which makes any type of analysis difficult. Thus, this work presents JusBD, a relational database that represents an advance for the analysis of public data by integrating datasets of the Brazilian judiciary. Therefore, JusBD allows obtaining various information about the judiciary and enables a forensic analysis.

Desafios no Mapeamento de Esquemas Conceituais Geográficos para Esquemas Físicos Híbridos SQL/NoSQL.

Danilo B. Seufitelli; Mirella M. Moro; Clodoveu A. D. Jr.

To the best of our knowledge, there is no generic mapping from conceptual schemas to NoSQL physical schemas. This paper tackles such problem in the context of geographic databases. We discuss the solution of mapping conceptual schemas to hybrid relational/NoSQL physical schemas.

Caracterização do Estado da Arte Sobre o Uso de Banco de Dados no Processo de Tomada de Decisão na Área da Saúde.

Danilo B. Seufitelli; Manoela C. Serafim; Claudia B. Seufitelli; Antonio A.B Jr.

Lifestyle: Low Carb.

Since February 2020 I have been practicing the "low carb" lifestyle along with intermittent fasting. I am interested in this area because my previous lifestyle favored weight gain (among other harms) even though I was a "gym rat". The YouTube / Instagram channels of influencers like Rodrigo Polesso and Senhor Tanquinho and the channels of doctors like Dr. Souto and Dr. Gabriel Almeida were and are some of my sources for learning about this evidence-based food lifestyle. Soon I will post more details about this lifestyle!
